You don't need a giant deep fryer to make these crispy and flavorful wings ! The preparation and cooking method gives the wings a much bigger flavor.
Prep time:15 minutes
Cook time: 1 hour 15minutes
Oven Temp: 400 degrees
Ingredients:
20 Chicken Wings
2 Cups Flour
2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp. Chili powder
2 Tbsp Salt
1 tsp. Fresh Cracked Pepper
2c. Your Favorite Hot Sauce
Carrot Sticks and Celery sticks make a great crunchy little side plate
Pre heat oven to 420 degrees
In a large ziplock bag add the flour, garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper. Shake all of the ingredients together to combine. Then add the chicken wings and shake them vigerously in the bag of flour and spices coating the chicken wings evenly.
Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet spreading them out evenly. For a quick cleanup line the baking sheet with parchment paper or tinfoil. Flip once halfway through and cook until crispy edges. About 45-50 minutes.
Take out of the oven and toss and evenly coat with your favorite sauce. Such as BBQ, Yakisoba, Buffalo, Teriyaki etc.
Place the wings back on your baking tray and put back in the oven for another 10-15 minutes to get the sauce nice and sticky and the wings really coated.
